We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Trident Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiac catheterization lab.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients for exams, provide general nursing care, and arrange for testing and admissions as needed
- Manage the efficient flow of patients through the lab, including screening and preparation for exams
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification (required within 6 months of hire/transfer date)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience
