Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in the Shelby, Michigan area. As a Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to specialize in land development, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Analysis
    • Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
    • Assess site conditions by analyzing project survey data, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condominium documentation.
  • Report Preparation
    • Develop essential reports, provide expert opinions, and make recommendations for project direction, including hydrology and hydraulic studies and cost estimations.
  • Project Support
    • Facilitate smooth project execution with construction-related services, such as permit applications and quantity estimates.
  • Software Proficiency
    • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to maintain excellence in project delivery.
  • Mentorship and Integration
    • Benefit from structured mentorship programs and an assigned ambassador to ensure a smooth transition into our team and company culture.

Compensation and Benefits

$90k - $130k per year. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
