At Coker Service Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Refrigeration Specialist to join our team in the Houston Area. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of commercial kitchen equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration maintenance, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.

Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid holidays, vacation days, 401k and profit-sharing benefits, training reimbursement, and company-provided vehicle.

About Us

Coker Service Inc. is a family-owned and operated parts and service contractor for the Food Service Industry, specializing in electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration services, maintenance services, new installations, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Routing to job sites and equipment to be repaired
  • Driving to job sites
  • Working and repairing equipment on-site
  • Completing work documents accurately via tablet for customer approval
  • Making contact with manufacturers or customer service department if job is covered by warranty
  • Turning in all paperwork to office on time to process for billing
  • Ordering and picking up parts needed to repair equipment
  • Maintaining vehicle maintenance on company vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Possess a valid Driver's License
  • High school or equivalent required
  • Possess a clear driving history
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Set and prioritize responsibilities
  • Willing to be challenged on a daily basis
  • Handle a variety of work assignments
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
