Master Tradesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Tradesperson - Plumbing Specialist to join our Maintenance Department at Humble ISD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems across our facilities.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary range of $45-$65 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing, including maintenance repairs and new construction. Previous experience working from a service truck is also desirable.

• Maintain, repair, and install plumbing systems, including domestic hot and cold water, HVAC, sanitary sewer, storm drains, lawn irrigation systems, appliances, compressed air lines, refrigeration, pumps, and gas systems.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and school staff to minimize interruptions in service and identify repair and replacement needs in the plumbing system.
• Read and interpret blueprints, estimate jobs, and use power hand tools, backhoes, trench digging machines, and pipe threading machines as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Texas Journeyman's plumber's license is required.
• A valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record is essential.
• Back-flow Prevention certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with State and Local Plumbing codes and ADA Regulations.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and how they work.
