Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hygienist to join our team at The Perico Group. As a key member of our Periodontal surgery office, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth of our practice.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, reviewing patient medical history, and assessing oral health conditions. You will also be responsible for acquiring dental imaging, assembling materials and equipment, and performing typical pre-operative and post-operative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver compassionate care that exceeds patient expectations
- Review patient medical history and accurately assess patient oral health condition
- Acquire dental imaging, including radiographs, CBCTs, and 2D photographs
- Assemble materials and equipment in preparation for treatment and maintain adequate supplies
- Perform typical pre-operative and post-operative duties to facilitate patient care
- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventative measures
- Prepare, administer, and record medications/anesthetic in accordance with all applicable regulations
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Operate sterilization equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records as required, maintaining confidentiality of all information in compliance with HIPAA
- Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist License, required
- Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist Anesthesia Permit (L), strongly preferred
- Active BLS Certification, preferred
