Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with the Lancaster Independent School District, you will provide vital support to our special education team. Your role will involve working under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver speech-language pathology services to students. Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language pathology services to students as directed by a supervising licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Collaborate with the special education team to develop and implement individualized plans for students with speech and language needs.

Assist with assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communicative science and disorders.

Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions.

Fifty hours of clinical observation and assisting experience as required for licensure.
