Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech Language Pathologist with the Lancaster Independent School District, you will play a vital role in providing speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Your expertise will be essential in assessing students and providing therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems that interfere with their ability to benefit from the educational program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students with speech, voice, or language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
• Provide therapeutic intervention to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support
• Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university
• Valid license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate
• One year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
