We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in all aspects of the Optum mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8am – 5pm; Wednesday: will rotate between 10am – 7pm or 8am – 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and clinic staff
- Process prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Order, receive, and manage pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process medication orders from wholesalers
- Verify medication inventory and maintain accurate records in the computer system
- Collaborate with the Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Perform various clerical duties related to the pharmacy
- Communicate effectively using strong verbal and written skills
- Complete other assigned tasks as necessary
- Occasionally deliver mail to the post office and other sites using personal transportation, with mileage reimbursement

Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Indiana
- 6+ months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
