Job Title: Utility WorkerLocation: Mt HollySalary: $16/hrBenefits: Available Day 1Schedule: 7am - 3pm or 6am - 2pmWhy is the Position Open: Current employee is leaving.Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Utility Worker to become part of our team at PeopleShare. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of responsibilities across the Custodial and Maintenance sectors, while also providing assistance to the Administrative team.Responsibilities:
  • Participate actively in initiatives aimed at quality enhancement
  • Provide coverage in different areas as required post-training
  • Utilize custodial, office, and grounds maintenance machinery
  • Ensure safe handling, mixing, and storage of cleaning chemicals and agents
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and diffusers
  • Support fire drills and maintain building security
  • Conduct general upkeep of outdoor areas including landscaping and snow removal
  • Perform minor repairs on furniture, equipment, and structures
  • Properly maintain and secure equipment
  • Assist with special events and undertake additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Clean driving record, background check, and drug screening
  • Capability to lift 50lbs
  • Experience in custodial work or floor care is preferred, but training is available
  • Valid driver's license is necessary
