Job Details

Position Overview

At Deborah Heart and Lung Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Informatics Specialist to evaluate, strategically direct, and coordinate the implementation of all clinical and related systems used by the Patient Care Services.


This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of medical information systems, clinical experience, and the ability to effectively interact with clinical and technical personnel in the application of information technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement clinical and related systems to support patient care services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical and technical personnel to ensure effective application of information technology.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize system implementation needs.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new system implementations.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Computer Sciences, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in medical information systems and clinical experience.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Working knowledge of PC's, MS Office Applications, including MS Project.
  • AANC Certification in Nursing Informatics is desired.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters' Degree in Nursing Informatics.
  • Proficient in Meditech.

Work Schedule

Bi-Weekly: 80 hours per pay period.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift.
