Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting quality checks on technician-prepared products
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of the pharmacy and controlled substances
  • Entering orders and patient information with accuracy and efficiency
  • Aiding in the training of new staff members
  • Providing updates to the Director on daily pharmacy activities
  • Assisting the Director in maintaining the pharmacy's operations
Work Schedule

This per diem position will work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You will also be required to cover staff PTO as needed.

About the Pharmacy

The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Our pharmacy is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service.

About the Facility

Springwoods Behavioral Health is a state-of-the-art private psychiatric hospital that provides comprehensive treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our hospital features a peaceful and serene environment, with expansive windows and open patient areas.

Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a behavioral health setting (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
