About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Springwoods Behavioral Health. As a per diem pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintaining the security of our pharmacy and controlled substances
  • Entering orders and patient information with accuracy
  • Aiding in the training of new staff members
  • Providing updates to the Director on daily pharmacy activities
Work Schedule

This per diem position will work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. You will also be required to help cover staff PTO.

About the Pharmacy

Our pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.

About the Facility

Springwoods Behavioral Health is a state-of-the-art private psychiatric hospital with 80 beds. Our campus features a peaceful setting with expansive windows and a one-story building for therapy, education, and administration.

Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist, behavioral health setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
