Key Responsibilities:
  • Cutting and Preparing Wire: Safely and accurately cut and reel designated lengths of wire to meet customer specifications.
  • Order Fulfillment: Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers, ensuring quality and quantity of daily production tasks.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the inventory management of all wire, including accurately identifying various types and sizes of wire.
  • Problem-Solving: Offer solutions to problems that may arise in the wire order, communicating directly with the management team.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate all necessary equipment in the work area, with training provided.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse and Distribution Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, including commercial or industrial equipment.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously in a team environment, with strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move/lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted, push/pull up to 100 lbs. unassisted, and perform tasks in a multi-temperature environment.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with cutting machines, forklift experience, and RF scanners, as well as familiarity with material stocking processes.
