Reporting Structure
This position reports to the US Country Holding Officer.
Key Responsibilities
ABB is in search of an Administrative Coordinator for Executive Leadership to assist the US Country Holding Officer with administrative and project-related tasks. This role will involve close collaboration with essential leaders within the organization. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, secretarial services, and project coordination at both North American and global levels. You will have the chance to demonstrate your skills by managing specific business processes and programs. Key duties include:
- Serving as the primary liaison for the US Country Holding Officer's office, leading and supporting various projects in collaboration with teams across Legal, Tax, HR, Treasury, Communications, and Information Services.
- Assisting business managers with administrative tasks, including conducting research, compiling and verifying information, and preparing reports, presentations, organizational charts, and correspondence.
- Managing internal and external inquiries via phone and email, evaluating the urgency of issues, and taking appropriate action.
- Coordinating essential internal and external events, including travel arrangements, itinerary development, accommodation bookings, conference registrations, and coordination with visiting speakers.
- Supporting executive-level communication efforts by drafting announcements and company-wide messages.
- Bachelor's degree (Required) with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in an administrative or project-based role.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP ERP is preferred.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and project management skills; adept at problem-solving and detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and calendar management is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information effectively.
- Experience in a large corporate environment, ideally within a global and matrixed organization.
- Candidates must possess work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.
