Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating Cat Scan equipment, positioning patients to produce diagnostic radiographs, and performing related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate C.T. equipment to make radiographic scans of designated portions of the body.
  • Adjust equipment and patient to correct positions for each examination.
  • Instruct and explain procedures to patients.
  • Select proper technical factors, on an individual patient basis.

Requirements:

  • ARRT (R) certification
  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist
  • Current BCLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in X-ray/CT
  • Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning, radiographic techniques, and radiation protection concepts and techniques.
