Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Supply Chain Coordinator role at Jiffy Products of America, Inc. is a critical position that requires a high degree of accuracy, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels, coordinating shipping and logistics, and ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and monitor domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, customer service, and production planning departments to coordinate shipping and logistics.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels in JPA warehouses, including Lorain and external warehouses/manufacturing facilities in the USA, using FIFO strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with customs agents for clearance on overseas deliveries and ensure compliance with import/export requirements, including HS codes and customs clearance.
  • Stay up-to-date with standard regulations and protocols for domestic and international shipping.
  • Utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and ERP packages (Microsoft Dynamics AX) to manage and analyze data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation modes, Incoterms, and required documentation.
  • Understanding of FIFO strategies and inventory management principles.
  • Knowledge of import/export requirements, including HS codes and customs clearance.
  • Experience with MS Office and ERP packages (Microsoft Dynamics AX) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English (oral and written) and preferably also Spanish.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Annually
