Job Summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various nursing units, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
  • Carry out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • 2 years experience in an acute care or specialty nursing setting, including telemetry experience.
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • BCLS Certified; must satisfactorily complete ACLS course according to subsidiary guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
  • Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.

Pay Range = $34.10 - $57.69
