Job Summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of medical-surgical units, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • 2 years experience in an acute care or specialty nursing setting, including telemetry experience.
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • BCLS Certified; must satisfactorily complete ACLS course according to subsidiary guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
