Electronics Coating Specialist

The Electronics Coating Specialist will play a crucial role in the application of protective coatings on printed circuit boards and assemblies, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process.

  • Prepare and clean components according to detailed production specifications.
  • Utilize various application techniques, including dipping, brushing, or spraying, to apply coating materials.
  • Support potting operations as necessary to enhance product durability.
  • Conduct thorough self-inspections to verify the quality of coated parts before advancing them in the production line.
  • Participate in the rework process for any defective components.
  • Maintain accurate records of job progress by logging production activities.
  • Propose suggestions for process enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols by consistently wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Capability to uphold IPC-610 certification.
  • Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and quality assurance documents.
  • Exhibit strong mechanical skills and visual precision.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing environments.
