Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all functions within the unit.
In collaboration with the management team, the CNC monitors and assesses nursing care in accordance with established protocols. The CNC acts as a resource for staff and fosters an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with the admission and discharge processes.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Required: Nursing graduate with RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing.
- Required: One (1) year of experience as an RN with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience as an RN in a Charge Nurse role.
Registered Nurse - Must hold a current license as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
This role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
