Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit functions. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC evaluates nursing care in alignment with established protocols and serves as a resource for staff, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with patient admission and discharge processes.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service delivery.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Required: Nursing graduate with RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing.
- Required: One (1) year of RN experience demonstrating leadership and management skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of RN experience in a Charge Nurse capacity.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
