The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cigar City Cook to join our team at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. As a Cigar City Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food for our guests and collaborating with our serving team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food to meet quality standards, ensuring proper food temperatures and storage
  • Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean and organized
  • Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, as well as end-of-day inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
  • Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
  • Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment
