Job Summary

Amdocs is seeking a highly skilled Storage Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our centralized storage technologies, backup infrastructure, and backup technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-class storage systems, including SAN and backup technologies.
  • Develop and maintain storage infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of storage systems, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement storage solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging storage technologies and trends, and recommend new solutions to improve storage infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in storage administration, with a focus on enterprise-class storage systems.
  • Hands-on experience with storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and backup systems.
  • Strong understanding of storage protocols, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS.
  • Experience with storage management software, including EMC Unisphere and Solutions Enabler.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure to resolve complex storage issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based storage solutions, including Amazon S3 and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies, including Docker and VMware.
  • Experience with scripting languages, including Python and PowerShell.
  • Certifications in storage administration, such as EMC Proven Professional or NetApp Certified Storage Administrator.
