Swim Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Swim Instructor to join our team at In-Shape Solutions. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate and skill-focused lessons to participants of all ages. • Teach swim classes to participants of all ages, following the standards set by In-Shape
• Maintain a safe environment by implementing safety policies and procedures
• Engage with participants and their parents, providing excellent customer service
• Complete program session trackers and distribute them to participants and their parents
• Enforce safety standards and identify potential hazards in the facility
• Monitor and report equipment issues
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, and advise management of any safety concerns
• Complete records and reports as required
• Assist in maintaining a clean pool deck and facility

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age, or have graduated High School or equivalent certification of completion
• Current lifeguard and Basic Life Support certifications preferred
• Pass a basic swim assessment as part of the hiring process
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on swim class schedules
• Previous experience helpful but not required
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work with children, adults, and seniors
• Flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to meet and exceed member expectations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
