Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Swim Instructor to join our team at In-Shape Solutions. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and encouragement to students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current lifeguard certification and Basic Life Support certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
  • Pass a basic swim assessment as part of the hiring process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, adults, and seniors.
  • Able to follow written instruction and complete basic forms.
  • Previous experience as a Swim Instructor or in a related field highly desirable.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This position requires frequent walking and standing up to 8 hours/day, with occasional lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds. You will also be required to wear designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as directed.
