Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests in a pleasant and professional manner, following our hospitality and service standards.
  • Order Taking: Assist customers in ordering from the menu and record ordered items on the check according to procedures.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Obtain food and beverage from prescribed locations and serve guests according to procedures.
  • Check Processing: Process checks through MICROS/POS and present the check to the guest for payment on conclusion of the dining experience.
  • Table Maintenance: Assist in cleaning and re-setting tables, escorting guests from the waiting area to their table in their assigned section.
  • Teamwork: Assist Bussers in a cooperative manner to ensure efficient service to guests.
  • Side Work: Complete assigned side work as directed.
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with all items on both printed and daily menus.
  • Salesmanship: Use knowledgeable salesmanship for suggestive selling of menu items, beverages, desserts, etc.
  • Payment Processing: Process all open checks and ensure they are properly tendered and/or accounted for at the end of the shift.
  • Guest Service Skills: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the principles of guest service skills and use them in all interactions.
  • Alcoholic Beverage Service: Deliver alcoholic beverages promptly from the assigned bar to the table.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory, restaurant, and local/state policies and procedures.
  • Multi-Tasking: Anticipate and execute excellent guest service through upbeat, positive attentiveness, and ability to multi-task high-volume activity, payment transactions, cash, and credit card carry as payment and/or comps.
  • Attendance and Education: Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to company policies. A high school degree or equivalent is required, and you must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Requirements
  • Strong Passion for Customer Service: A strong passion for customer service is required.
  • Eye Contact and Greeting: You must be able to make eye contact and meet and greet each guest with Platinum Guest Service, wearing a smile as part of your uniform.
