Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a motivated and experienced Program Development Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This position involves developing and implementing recreational programs that promote physical and mental well-being among residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as experience working in a recreation/activity setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engaging activity programs that cater to the diverse needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify and meet individualized care plan goals.
  • Document resident participation and progress.

A strong understanding of geriatric care principles and ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents are essential requirements for this role.

Estimated Salary: $17 to $19/hour + $750 sign-on bonus
