HCA Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician at HCA Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the transfer, positioning, and transport of patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized environment, including the preparation and cleaning of operating rooms between cases.
- Perform terminal cleaning of surgical areas and maintain sufficient supply levels and orderliness of all equipment and supplies.
- Assist patients with basic needs, such as urinals, bedpans, and emesis basins.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment in waiting areas, lobbies, utility rooms, and patient care areas.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
