Job Summary:

University Hospitals seeks a highly skilled Senior Research Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading the development of research studies, designing and organizing databases, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement research protocols, informed consent, and funding applications
• Design and organize databases for research studies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and statisticians to execute research studies
• Monitor and evaluate collected data, analyze data generated, and contribute to preliminary data for grant proposals
• Publish articles in peer-reviewed journals, present results in conferences, and plan and execute research in collaboration with other investigators
• Perform patient evaluations, interpret results, and provide treatment plans in conjunction with patients and their families
• Develop and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and document evaluation procedures, results, diagnoses, and recommendations

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
• Experience in research and clinical settings
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and writing skills
