Key Responsibilities:

This specialized role entails the installation, programming, troubleshooting, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, and CCTV Systems, along with other related building system products at client locations. Responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and utilizing technical resources, information, materials, and support for efficient task execution
  • Programming fire alarm, security, and access control system panels, with a primary focus on networked fire alarm systems

How You Will Achieve This:
  • Conduct installation and programming on integrated security and fire alarm systems
  • Respond promptly to customer service inquiries, troubleshooting and repairing as necessary
  • Participate in after-hours service programs as required
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch regarding work order status and customer issues
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals
  • Oversee and inspect equipment installation to meet specifications
  • Complete necessary certification courses for internal and external products
  • Timely submission of all required documentation related to tasks and activities

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3-5 years of documented experience in fire sprinkler installation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operational manuals
  • Experience with hand tools, test equipment, and commissioning devices
  • Physical capability to carry and move equipment weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in various positions, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
  • Flexibility to work weekends and potential overtime
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Team leadership and collaboration abilities
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass background and drug tests
  • Capability to obtain necessary licenses as per regulations
  • Basic understanding of network concepts and architectures
  • Current Oklahoma Fire Sprinkler Technician License

Preferred:

  • NICET level II certification or the ability to obtain it within the first year
