Product Manager

The Product Manager - Fund Administration will play a key role in driving the strategic agenda of the global Fund Administration business. This senior management position will involve setting strategy, providing direction, leadership, and budgetary management, as well as developing product plans, strategies, and tactics. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Fund Administration strategic program roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product.
- Supervise day-to-day product management for core products, including product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies.
- Drive client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients.
- Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business, requiring coordination and integration across units.
- Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmaps, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions.
- Conduct regulatory change impact assessments.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of program life cycle management, including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field.
- Drive the achievement of product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals.
- Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the global marketplace and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions, and client management.
- Lead innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage ongoing relationships, exercise control over resources, policy formation, and planning.
- Develop market insight by defining the target client segment markets, evaluating industry trends/competitive positioning, and defining the market story.
- Audit and assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated history of client-facing roles and responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business strategy development.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master's/advanced degree preferred.
