About this role
We are seeking a skilled RN to join our team on 7 North East, a 33-bed Medical Surgical unit at Royal Oak Hospital. As a Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care, and develop teaching strategies to promote patient education and empowerment.

Requirements
Associates or Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience. Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination. MI Registered Nurse (RN) required within 60 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.
