About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical Unit at Royal Oak Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating patient and family-centered care principles.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and research to improve patient outcomes and advance nursing practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire.
