Job Title: Director of Operations

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing support to our regional operations, driving safety compliance and performance, and developing long-term operational strategies that meet our company's objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day operations of a region, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Coach and develop new Plant Managers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Drive daily process improvement in assigned territories, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage productivity reporting and performance for assigned territories, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to develop long-term operational strategies that meet our company's objectives, ensuring alignment with our overall business goals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and perform root cause analysis to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support and train plants on internal productivity systems, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments on projects and new initiatives, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Responsible for training and certification of all compliance areas, ensuring our team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, with a proven track record of success in managing multiple locations.
  • Bachelor's degree, with a focus on business, operations, or a related field.
  • Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience preferred, with a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to drive performance without formal authority, with a strong track record of results-driven leadership.
  • Travel requirement (75%), with frequent visits to our regional operations.
  • Must thrive in a progressive environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and general PC applications.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate our team members.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, creativity, problem-solving, conflict management, written and oral communication skills.
