Role Responsibilities:

As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will conduct both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures for radiological interpretation. If your primary duties include specialized procedures, you will assist radiologists with needle localizations and biopsies, ensuring essential patient care throughout these processes.

In this role, you will also apply radiation safety principles and may assist with general radiographic and administrative tasks as needed. If your assignment involves mobile mammography, you will be responsible for driving the mobile unit to various locations.


Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program along with the requisite clinical experience is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Certifications:
Must hold certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (R)(M).
