Job Summary

The Aftercare Site Supervisor Director will oversee an after-school program in a K-8 school setting at our HTH North County campus.

Responsibilities include developing an after-school curriculum, leading a team of staff members, managing a budget, hiring, scheduling, and communicating with families and school faculty.

The ideal candidate is skilled at multitasking, effective communication, conflict resolution, taking initiative, ensuring safety, and developing rapport with students (ages 5-14) as well as adult colleagues.

Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an after-school curriculum that meets the needs of students
  • Lead a team of staff members to ensure the successful operation of the after-school program
  • Manage a budget to ensure the efficient use of resources
  • Hire, schedule, and train staff members as needed
  • Communicate effectively with families and school faculty to ensure a smooth and successful program
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with youth programs in a supervisory role
  • Experience in a school/learning environment preferred
