We are looking for a driven engineer with strong coordination and analytical skills to join our Core I/O Quality Engineering team. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining the software quality of I/O technologies across all Apple products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate testing initiatives at offshore facilities, ensuring efficient execution of I/O technology tests.
- Engage in hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to resolve issues effectively.
- Adapt testing strategies to meet operational requirements and manage issue tracking.
- Report on test execution progress and assist in expanding our testing coverage over time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage and drive quality engineering projects, including in-depth issue analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting quality status to diverse audiences.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting for issue triage, data manipulation, and test automation.
- Familiarity with I/O technologies like USB, Thunderbolt, or DisplayPort/HDMI.
- Knowledge of C programming is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau.
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
