Mammography Technologist III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist III to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing specialized exams under the direction of our staff radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of technical and clerical duties that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
  • Maintain monthly budget constraints and perform yearly budgetary projections.
  • Perform quality control on Equipment according to the ACR standards.
  • Maintain supplies needed throughout the department.
  • Scheduling staff and maintaining schedule updates.
  • Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.

Requirements:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • CPR certification required. ARRT required.
  • IEMA license.
  • 3 to 5 years Mammography experience preferred/1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
