About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investigator or Principal Investigator, Injectable Products Development Lead to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our formulation and process development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of injectable products from concept to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to progress drug product development projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement formulation and process development strategies to support clinical studies and commercialization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and execute DOE, scale-up studies, and technology transfer.
  • Prepare development reports and regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to achieve project goals, leveraging expertise in formulation and process development.
Requirements
  • PhD in Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, or related science fields.
  • 0-2+ years of industry experience in pharmaceutical drug product development.
  • Experience in formulation and process development of small molecules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in formulation and process development of large molecules.
  • Experience with cGMP and regulatory requirements for manufacturing operations and documentation.
  • Expertise in sterilization techniques and physico-chemical properties.
  • Experience working within a product development matrix team and conducting technical risk assessments.
