Qualifications:
To be eligible, you must possess:
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS for critical care settings.
  • A willingness to float across various departments and facilities.
  • Preferred experience with EPIC systems.
  • No concurrent employment at Trinity Health facilities.
  • The ability to complete orientation and training tailored to your schedule.

Position Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
  • Deliver quality, patient-centered care while considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide competent clinical practice.
  • Integrate relationship-based care principles into your daily practice.
  • Assume accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients and demonstrate unit-specific competencies.

Core Functions:
In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments that consider the holistic needs of patients.
  • Employ critical thinking to analyze patient information and implement effective interventions.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.

  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and patient satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must have:
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program and a valid nursing license in your state.
  • Active BLS certification and any required specialty credentials (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
  • A minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent clinical experience in your specialty area.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Critical thinking abilities to navigate complex patient care scenarios.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
This position requires:
  • The ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to lift and position patients.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
