Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified professional to provide orientation and mobility services to students with visual impairment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in a school setting or with minors.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect orientation and mobility support to students with visual impairment
  • Evaluate student's progress on an ongoing basis, documenting data to update progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers to conduct functional vision assessments and develop independent travel plans
  • Other duties as assigned by the administration
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • ACVREP Certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments
