Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Nurse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day healthcare operations of our community, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct licensed nursing staff, including LPNs, LVNs, and RNs, as well as Certified Medication Aides and Certified Nurse Aides.
  • Assign and direct work, appraise performance, and provide training and supervision to ensure the delivery of quality care.
  • Assess health, functional, and psycho-social status of residents, initiate individualized care plans, and proactively manage care and services.
  • Participate in pre-admission screening of prospective new residents and ensure required documentation is completed prior to or upon resident admission.
  • Perform on-site evaluations of residents admitted to alternate care environments and maintain contact with resident families.
  • Evaluate residents, document changes in condition, and notify the Executive Director, physician, and resident's legally responsible party/family of resident's condition and reactions.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
  • Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
