We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing various types of buildings and structures using RISA and Bluebeam software.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed structural analysis and design of commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
- Prepare and review structural engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for various projects.
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments of existing buildings and structures.
- Assist with the planning and execution of demolition projects, ensuring all safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure the structural integrity of projects.
- Provide technical advice to project teams and clients, and resolve complex engineering issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to your work.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree or professional engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in the design and analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
- Proficiency in using structural engineering software such as Bluebeam and RISA.
- Experience in planning and executing demolition projects.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for site inspections and meetings as needed.
