Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, program, evaluate, and inspect fire safety systems.
  • Verify that all equipment is operational and in working order.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions in systems to determine necessary repairs.
  • Replace system components as required, including panels and alarms.
  • Offer technical assistance to clients, including remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of signal-related issues.
  • Engage professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management and dispatch to efficiently complete service and work orders.
  • Update management and/or dispatch on service status to facilitate appropriate actions.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of fire safety systems.
  • Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • NICET Certification: Possessing a National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certification indicates a superior level of skill and professionalism in fire protection engineering technology.
  • FASA/BASA Certification.
  • Experience with the installation and/or maintenance of security systems such as burglar alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
