Filing Clerk Job Description

Midas Chain, a leading jewelry manufacturer, seeks a detail-oriented Filing Clerk to support its accounting department. This 6-month part-time temporary position involves organizing invoices, filing, scanning, and photocopying documents, and uploading them to digital locations.

Responsibilities:
  • File, scan, and photocopy historical accounting documents according to document retention policies.
  • Organize current invoices, tracking and finding missing ones.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system.
  • Assist the accounting department in maintaining clean records.
  • File paperwork digitally and manually as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications in office administration or a related field are a plus.
  • Proven experience using scanning tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
