Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our team at Birchwood Nursing & Rehabilitation. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction to Nurse Aides for the appropriate care of residents.
  • Administer resident medication properly.
  • Implement resident care plans in compliance with Company and federal guidelines and physician's orders.
  • Perform treatments and accurately document residents' charts.
  • Participate in shift reports and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to organize work flow.
