Nurse Manager

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our team at Birchwood Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Provide direction to Nurse Aides for the appropriate care of residents.
• Administer resident care plans in compliance with Company and federal guidelines and physician's orders.
• Perform and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document residents' charts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete nursing assessments as required.
• Participate in shift reports.
• Implement established nursing policy and procedures, educating support staff regarding care needs of residents.
• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and note detail.
