About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patient responses and notify providers as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An Associate Degree or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications within 30 days of employment start date
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
