About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist PRN to coordinate and deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will perform various diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures while monitoring patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
You will assess patients, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure, and document your findings. You will administer oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy according to treatment plans. Additionally, you will assist with artificial airway placement and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation. Your attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring patient responses and notifying providers when necessary. You will also transport ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent situations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess advanced skills in respiratory care. A minimum requirement includes holding an Associate Degree, RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification. Furthermore, you will need to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications within 30 days of employment start date. Your experience in similar roles will be valuable assets to our team.

Estimated Salary:
This role offers an estimated annual salary range of $70,000-$90,000 based on national averages for Registered Respiratory Therapists in Florida. However, salaries may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
