Key Responsibilities- Medical Director Responsibilities: Provide medical direction and oversight to our skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and assisted living facilities (ALFs), including conducting regular visits, reviewing medical records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborative Partnering: Work closely with our team of physicians to provide oversight visits at ALFs, focusing on quality of care and meeting regulatory expectations.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor our nurse practitioners and physician assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance meetings and work with our audit team to ensure compliance with standards of care and billing criteria.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, including signing medical records and certifications, and attending QA meetings.
- Qualifications: Licensed MD or DO with at least 3 years of experience in long-term care/SNF setting.
- Certifications: AMDA certification a plus, but not mandatory.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
